Bushel and Peck Review

By Ezekiel McAdams

Bushel and Peck comes from Stephanie Morin Robert from Vancouver. is a dark absurd comical experience that at times borders on David Lynchian levels.

Performed by Alastair Knowles  and Robert, Bushel and Peck is less a show and more of an experience , sliced into recurring vignettes such as the characters, Knowles and Robert play that are takeoffs of the minion characters.

I'm biased but as of writing this review, I still don't know what to think. There are moments that I thought were creative and almost brilliant such as the physical work Roberts and Knowles are able  to master efficiently but there other moments such as the Minons-esqe character that I felt detracted from the performance.

Bushel and Peck is however unlike anything you will see at the Fringe, Knowles and Robert have a stage presence that is not only fascinating but engaging as well. Depending on your tastes, you might love Bushel and Peck.
