The Gay Card Review

By Ezekiel McAdams

The Gay Card is a raw one man show from local group, Sexual Spacewalk Theatre and written, directed by Logan Martin Arcand,

The Gay Card tells the story of a young man navigating the online dating world and trying new relationships in a very raw performance from Arcand.

Arcand steals the show as his character dishes anecdotes  and shows us a haunting personal story filled with pain, acceptance and joy. Arcand is able to take the audience on an emotional rollercoaster that feels real. Arcand is great as a storytelling and emoting.

The story is obviously personal for Arcand and it shows as his performance is captivating.

The Gay Card is a perspective that we don't get to see a lot in theatre and Arcand does a tremendous job wearing many hats as the finished product feels like something Arcand has been doing for years.

Take a chance on The Gay Card.  If you like a raw emotional, performance, you won't regret it.
